Florin-Stefan Morar (History of Science)

Florin-Stefan Morar is a PhD candidate in History of Science and an A.M. Candidate in the Regional Studies East Asia program at Harvard. Before coming to Harvard, Florin studied in Romania (BA), Germany (MA) and France (DEA). At the moment Florin is focusing on language study -Chinese and Japanese. He is interested in the transmission of western science in East Asia in the 19th and 20th century, scientific migration and immigration and the interaction between western science and local knowledge practices in East Asia.
